The Final Net

Thematic Anchor: True Discipleship vs. Comfortable Religion

There’s a comfortable religion where the water never boils We want the Kingdom’s glory without the dirt and toil We sing loud Sunday anthems with our hands in the air But Monday comes around, and our hearts are barely there

It’s easy singing praises when it doesn't cost a dime Just speaking empty promises to pass the fleeting time But He said, I’d rather have you freezing, or burning in the light ‘Cause lukewarm middle ground won’t survive the night

I don’t want to be the one who never plants or sows I want to walk the narrow road no matter where it goes Let the fire burn away everything I used to be The only thing that matters is what my Savior thinks of me

Open up your heavy eyes, the time for waiting’s done The wheat is ripe and ready beneath the rising sun Don’t wait upon the seasons — the harvest is today There are souls out in the shadows trying to find the way

So, I’m stepping off the shoreline, leaving comfort far behind He said “Come and follow Me,” and leave your old life behind We’re casting nets of mercy for the hearts of broken men To pull them from the deep and bring them home again

I’m walking through the trenches where the broken souls now hide Laying down my ego, swallowing my pride The King of all Creation knelt to wash a sinner’s feet And laid His life down freely to pay the debt I couldn't meet

When the final net is gathered and the final field is bare When our earthly breath is taken into heaven’s holy air Every heavy step I’ve taken, every tear that hit the sod Fades away completely in the presence of my God

Every heavy burden fades the moment that I see The Savior of the world reaching out to welcome me All the years of casting nets, the trials and the pain Wash away forever in heaven’s healing rain I don’t need a golden crown — the glory is the Lord’s I only want to hear the greatest of rewards... "Well done, my Son... well done" "WELL DONE!"

He Shows Up

Thematic Anchor: God's Deliverance & Faithfulness In Dark Valleys

I woke up this morning with a mountain in my way Just a heavy heart and a prayer I couldn't say Felt like the shadows were closing in fast Wondering how long this dry season would last But I look back at the history of grace And I know my God is never late

When the storm is raging heavy and I cannot see the shore The God who fought my battles is walking through my door He shows up — every single time He shows up — when the mountain’s too high He shows up — when I need Him most My God shows up… He shows up

David stood before Goliath, sling in his hand God showed up and dropped that giant in the sand Three men thrown in the furnace, flames nine feet high Jesus walked right in and they walked out alive He’s the fourth man in the fire, the angel in the den The God who parts the sea will do it all again

When the doctor shakes his head and hope is gone When the bills keep rising and I feel so alone When the whole world says “it’s over, close the door” That’s when I hear Him whisper… “I’ve got so much more” Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Put your trust and believe in Him. He will show up… He shows up.

War In My Bones

Thematic Anchor: Romans 7 & 8 | The Civil War of Flesh vs. Spirit

I chase down good intentions, but the mirror shows my shame The ghosts I buried yesterday keep calling out my name It’s a war inside my marrow, civil war of flesh and will I do the very thing I hate, a battle I'm losing still The Law keeps shining like a spotlight on the darkness in me This body of death is screaming, you will never be free

Stained by the dirt of the things that I’ve done But Jesus washes clean what I could never overcome Crying out for mercy from the sin that wants to burn Falling on my knees for the grace I didn’t earn

There is no condemnation! The chains are on the floor! My flesh can pick a fight, but Heaven won the war! I couldn’t save myself, my hands were bound and tied Now I’m standing tall in the grace of the Crucified!

I used to walk in darkness, chained up by my shame Every failure felt final, like I’d never change the game But the Spirit of the Living God crashed into my hell Broke the power of the grave where my old man fell He called me from the dirt, put my heavy heart to rest I’m an adopted son of the King, with His Spirit in my breath!

Yeah the cross paid the debt, the victory is real But the devil is still trying to broker a deal If your Bible's gathering dust upon the shelf You’ll go right back to war with your old sinful self Grace ain't a license to flirt with the flame Forgiveness ain't permission to play the same old game If you ain't walking in the Word, holding fast to the fight The flesh starts whispering… and the fall feels alright Neither height nor depth, nor demons in the night! Nor the ghosts of yesterday, nor tomorrow’s fight! Can rip me from the grip of the blood that set me free! The King of Kings has claimed me for eternity! If the Father is for me, who can stand against? He gave His only Son — my Rock, my sure Defense!

Keep the Word in your heart, keep the flesh in the grave Keep the Word in your heart, remember the price He paid There was a war in my bones, but my God has overcome I'm standing in the GRACE of the One who took my PLACE!

Alive Because He Died

Thematic Anchor: The Empty Tomb & Unashamed Blood-Bought Redemption

They can try to shut us up, they can cut us down Ain’t no devil in hell gonna stop us now Try to lock us up, try to smoke us out Ain’t a grave deep enough to hold us down I ain’t stoppin’ ‘til the whole world knows How the Savior came to heal our tears I ain’t stoppin’ ‘til the last soul’s saved Got the Gospel burning bright — let it set ‘em free We were all sinners, broken in this fallen world Dead in our trespasses, drowning in shame But God so loved us, He gave His only Son While we were still sinners, Christ died in our place Forgiven by grace, no longer condemned From doubters to believers, the old story came alive He took our sins to that rugged cross And rose from the grave on the third day

This is salvation, blood-bought redemption I’d rather die than deny what He’s done He died so we can LIVE Rose again so we can LIVE He loves you more than you’ll ever know Just believe in Him and you will be saved He died so we can LIVE He rose so we can LIVE Open your heart, let His mercy rush in Jesus is the way, the truth, the life, and love

They can try to kill the truth, try to bleed it dry Try to wage a war on the Name that won’t die Try to hold us back, try to dim His light But that tomb is empty — He’s alive tonight I ain’t stoppin’ ‘til I’m in my grave Still preachin’ Jesus, He’s the only way I ain’t stoppin’ ‘til the whole world knows His name Got the cross on my heart, forever unashamed We are the rebels saved by grace in this fallen world We stand and boldly say There’s only one way, one truth, one life No one comes to the Father except through Christ We are the people, we are the faces Of sinners transformed by amazing grace Changed forever when we met the King Now we’re free for all eternity

I smell the sulfur in the sky But I see it through with a Savior’s eye He’s coming back soon like a Groom for His Bride In the twinkling of an eye The dead in Christ will rise We who are alive will be caught up in the sky Confess with your mouth, believe in your heart — you will be saved Lord, we can’t wait to stand by Your side Alive because He died!

Endless Day

Thematic Anchor: Revelation 21 & 22 | New Jerusalem & Eternal Glory

Living in the shadow of this broken fallen land But the Architect of Heaven holds a masterpiece in hand Trading fragile bones for bodies that never fade Covered by the blood and the heavy price He paid

Bought and paid in full by the blood that set us free Standing blameless in His sight for all eternity

Open wide the twelve great gates of pearl! Walking on the streets of pure shining gold Glory, hallelujah, every tear wiped away! Finally home in Heaven's endless day!

Gather at the table with the saints of long ago Hearing of the ransom from the prophets that we know Casting golden crowns before the throne of endless grace Lost in the glory of our mighty Savior’s face

Walk beside the crystal river flowing from the throne Leaves upon the tree of life to make the nations whole We will see His face and serve Him with our every breath In the city of our God where joy outlasts all death

No more curse, and no more night! The Lamb alone will be our light! We will see the King in all His might! Death is swallowed in the blinding white! Open wide the gates! Finally home in Heaven's endless day! Welcome home.
