Why The Foundry?

A foundry is not a place for timid things. It is an industrial forge of extreme heat where raw minerals are melted down, impurities are burned away, and something enduring is hammered out on an anvil. "Intentional" means nothing happens by accident—it is crafted with predestined purpose.

"Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" Jeremiah 23:29

The world is full of hard hearts. We build undeniable hooks to deliver the fire of God's Word—shattering pride and pointing every broken sinner to the foot of the cross.

Alex McClure | Producer & Songwriter

Intentional Foundry is the musical vision of Alex McClure. Operating out of Sadler, Texas, Alex is not a touring frontman, vocalist, or on-camera talent. He is the architect behind the mixing console, engineering the stems, directing the cinematic video visuals, and penning the theological lyric sheets.

Every track is an intentional, personal testimony of being pulled from the mud of sin by unearned grace. We aren't chasing a million empty streams—we are chasing the one soul wrestling in the dark who needs to hear that Jesus meets them at their lowest point and forgives in full.

What Will Not Be Compromised

In an era where Christian music often waters down doctrine to fit secular radio formats, Intentional Foundry holds these three pillars sacred:

1. The Reality of Sin

We don't write self-help anthems. We confront the fallen state of humanity and the bitter gravity of sin head-on (Romans 7). You cannot appreciate the magnitude of the Cure until you recognize the deadly disease.

2. Substitutionary Atonement

The cross stands at the absolute center of every release. Christ took the full wrath of God in our place. Salvation was paid in full by His blood—an unearned ransom we could never repay or buy.

3. Zero Watered-Down Gospel

No ambiguous pronouns. No romanticizing Jesus into a generic boyfriend. Whether driving Southern Soul or heavy Christian Alt-Rock, every hook proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord, King, and Savior.
